name: Hans Hockx year of birth: 1955 lives in: the Netherlands When I'm not working or sleeping, I spend a lot of time on photography. Since 2001 I dedicated myself to black & white photography. I cherish the artisan skills needed to create and print photographs the analogue way. It's 'slow photography' that helps me slow down in a fast moving world. When shooting photographs I use manual cameras with fixed focus lenses. Both medium format (Mamiya 645, Kiev 60) and 35mm (Voigtlander Bessa R) cameras are used. I'm lucky to have a fully equiped darkroom in the house with a fine Dunco Model II 67 CVC enlarger. + sent me an email |
